the adventures of P o o h b a y r

Waddap Fall ;0
A leather jacket. Alright, maybe it’s still a tad too warm to do leather jackets (or faux leather) but you have to admit leather always ups the cool factor. Get a well-fitting one to wear over a simple dress to instantly go punk.

Metallics. Metallic tanks, metallic cardigans, or anything that showcases this blinding color can amplify your look instantly. Think jewelry too, but easy on the shimmering splendids.

Boots. This year, they all say the higher, the better. I’d definitely agree but if you’re on the petite side, you might want to think again. If you’re also considering the jeans-tucked-into-boots look, do opt for skinny styles and not the baggy kind that you have to force into the boots.

Pop that color! . Forget those serious autumn colors for now, and have them see hot pink and yellow or electric blue. This is where an all-black ensemble comes in – black blazer, trouser jeans and brogues (Oxfords to you, dahlings), and then that super eye-catching flash of colors straight out of the crayon box

Draping and cowl necks. Before you start letting the curtain fall on your school act, learn to wear fabrics that are cut, folded and hung in such a way that you’re anything but homely. Draped necklines allow you to wear eye-catching necklaces and earrings without having to show too much chest. And you know why I also love draping? It hides bulges!
